Grapes
South Africa and China are key exporters of high-quality table grapes, contributing significantly to the global market. In the 2023/24 season, South Africa's exports grew by 17% to 330,750 metric tons, highlighting its strong viticulture industry. China's grape production is expected to reach 14.2 million metric tons in 2024/25, with exports rising to 620,000 metric tons. The country's fresh grape exports increased from 377,300 metric tons in 2022 to 483,400 metric tons in 2023, reflecting advancements in quality.
